Its believed this womans surcoat was originally a winter coat that gradually turned into an ostentation garment. Some sources maintain this item was originated from the exaggeration of the abroad styles, widening the neck on the sleeveless tunics worn in other parts of Europe. On the woman style of late 13th century can be seen that surcoat had side openings, usually too excessive. On men style of the age can also be seen narrowed necks to the unbelievable, as per example the Fernando de la Cerda one.

This product is made with 100% cotton and has been dyed with natural dyes. To wash it, it is recommended to do so by hand with cold water and a mild detergent. This way, its fabric and dye won't deteriorate and will last longer. Additionally, it is also advisable to turn it inside out to protect the outer side of the product, which is the most important, during the washing process.
Wash separately and with cold water (30°C or less).
